Klopp Unhappy with Schedule

Counting from November 18 of 2017 until December 30 of that same year, there is a total of 12 competitive matches that Liverpool will have to play including games from the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

12 games in around 2 months is a very large amount of games for any club to perform in and Jurgen Klopp has made his voice be heard concerning why is this schedule so stacked.

"We have so many games, and now the busiest time is coming!" Fans will be pleased to know that tickets are available for all matches from this site, whith the games coming thick and fast, which means they should have a good chance of getting to at least on game.

"In this circumstance, and because we are now away for two weeks, I want to ask this; is there a reason why nobody plays in the midweek, the first week of January? They put us again on the 30th of December and the 1st of January. They could easily play all the games on the 2nd and the 3rd. I don’t understand this. Is it not possible? Is there another Bonfire day or something like this?" Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp said.

Liverpool’s latest English Premier League match was played on November 4 as they faced off with West Ham and won 4-1 but they wont play any other match until November 18 as there are FIFA World Cup play-offs games which are going to be played and this gives the non-international players some time to rest as well as the coach himself.

This rest is needed considering the large amount of matches that are scheduled to be played within the upcoming few months which is certainly an alarming thing for a coach as it can seriously put it into risk of getting injured many of his players and this could be one of the main reasons of why Jurgen Klopp has been complaining so much recently about this rather intense and uncomfortable end of the year schedule.
